By using our National Change of Address [NCOA] product, you send us your current database with the names and addresses that you would like us to update. If we find a record on your database that has filed a change of address card with the U.S.P.S within the past 4 years, then we are able to provide you with the new, forwarding address for that record. This enables you to update your database to maintain the relationship with this record, even if they have moved! PCOA: Unlike the NCOA file which is maintained and controlled by the United States Post Office, the PCOA file is a compiled file that is created from multiple, private companies and sources. Approximately 26 sources are used in creating the PCOA file which contains close to 150 million address changes that go back for 5 years. Move Types and associated Name Logic are: 1. Individual Match on first name, middle name or initial, surname and title required. (The NCOA customer can elect to have only individual match logic utilized regardless of the move type in the NCOA record when their file is processed.) 2. Family Match to surname only. 3. Business Match on entire business name. When possible, postal customers who move multiple times within the three-year period are linked or chained to ensure that the latest address is furnished when an NCOA match is attained. Deceased Removal: Deceased processing enables mailers to eliminate deceased individuals from their mailings prior to a promotion. The annoyance to members of the deceased's household with unwanted mail is prevented. Our file contains over 40 million deceased individuals, usually resulting in identifying 1% to 3% of the file as deceased. Geocoder: you can add Latitude and Longitude coordinates, Census tract and block numbers and County FIPS codes to the ZIP+4 level. The new module can also create another field holding the calculated distance value from any valid origin ZIP+4 code. The Latitude and Longitude codes are 10 characters long with a 6-decimal extension, and distance is calculated to the 15th decimal, letting you search your database by radius accurately.
